01 — Who is responsible for your data?

Catherine Mauvais Aung, founder of Chocolate 21, is responsible for the personal data collected through this website.
For any question or request relating to your personal data, use the contact details provided on the Contact page.

02 — What information do we collect?

The form collects only your first name, last name, email address and your choice between “Independent professional” and “Company or SME”.

03 — Why do we use this information?

  • receive your enquiry and know whether you are an independent professional or an SME;
  • reply to you by email;
  • consider a potential collaboration and prepare a proposal;
  • protect the form and website against misuse.
We do not use this information to send you a newsletter or marketing communications without your consent.

04 — Who may access your information?

Your information is accessible to Catherine Mauvais Aung and to the technical service providers needed to operate, host and secure the website and deliver messages. These providers may process the information only to provide their services.
A notification of your enquiry may be sent by email to the inbox used by Chocolate 21. Depending on the services and configuration in use, providers may include Lovable Cloud for website hosting and storage, Resend for email delivery, and Google if the receiving inbox is Gmail.
Your personal data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

05 — Where is your information processed?

Information stored in the website database is hosted by Lovable Cloud. Email notifications may be processed by Resend and delivered to Chocolate 21’s inbox. Depending on the providers and their service configuration, some information may be processed outside Switzerland, including in the United States.

06 — How long do we keep your information?

Enquiries stored in the website database are automatically deleted after 12 months.
This automatic deletion applies only to the copy held in the website database. It does not delete notifications or correspondence already received in an email inbox. These are kept only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, manage a potential professional relationship or comply with legal obligations. They are deleted when no longer needed.

07 — Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal data and limit access to people and service providers who need it. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

08 — Cookies and technical services

The website does not use advertising or audience-measurement cookies unless stated otherwise in the website’s cookie notice or settings. Essential technical storage may be used to operate the website. Embedded content or third-party services may also transmit technical information, such as your IP address, to their provider.

09 — Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data or deletion. Where provided by law, you may also request restriction of processing or object to it. If processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time for the future.
To exercise your rights, use the contact details provided on the Contact page.
You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner if you believe your request has not been handled appropriately.
